What you’ll own
- Build and execute the sales strategy to consistently hit monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
- Drive outbound + inbound pipeline: prospect, qualify, and close fintech and platform customers (BBPS, payment gateways, NBFCs, UPI use-cases, channel/distribution, etc.).
- Build long-term relationships with decision-makers (CXOs, product/tech heads, risk/compliance teams) and become a trusted advisor.
- Run compelling product demos and solution narratives that connect technical capabilities to business outcomes.
- Lead commercial negotiations (pricing, contracts, timelines) and coordinate onboarding with product, ops, compliance, and engineering.
- Stay on top of market + regulatory changes (NPCI, RBI, partner constraints) and feed insights back into product and GTM strategy.
- Establish a scalable sales operating system: CRM hygiene, forecasting, reporting cadence, and repeatable playbooks.
- Recruit, mentor, and manage a small, high-ownership team as the motion scales.
What we’re looking for
- Strong track record owning revenue numbers and closing enterprise/B2B fintech deals.
- Ability to sell complex products that involve partners (banks/PAs) and operational constraints.
- Comfort working in lean, fast-moving environments with high accountability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field — or equivalent experience.
Experience
- 10+ years in sales / BD, with meaningful exposure to enterprise selling.
- 5+ years in fintech, payments, banking, or adjacent infrastructure ecosystems.
- 3+ years leading teams or owning a sales function end-to-end.
Skills
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and negotiation.
- Strong pipeline discipline (CRM, forecasting, deal reviews).
- Strong understanding of India fintech rails, partner ecosystems, and compliance realities.
